Vision is the most important sense of all, so it is important to have your eyes checked regularly. Our fully qualified and experienced optometrists offer a comprehensive eye examination for both private and NHS patients. We are able to cater for all the family in a friendly, professional atmosphere.
An eye examination at R M Ling will ensure that you have the best vision possible for you, and also make vital health checks, which could indicate conditions such as raised blood pressure, macular degeneration, diabetes and cataracts.
All examinations also include checks for binocular vision (to see if your eyes work together properly), and, if you are over 40, it will also include checks for glaucoma, such as measuring the field of vision and eye pressure.
You could also opt for our state of the art retinal camera, which allows us to see
inside the eye like never before, and store images for future reference. For your convenience we have a private car park right outside the front door and a wheelchair ramp into the practice. The ground floor consulting rooms and the dispensing area are all easily accessible. To make the visit as friendly as possible for our younger patients we have a dedicated children’s area with books and toys to keep them amused.
